About The Event
Held at the Assembly Ground of the SFS Block at around 8:00 a.m., the programme beautifully captured the essence of continuity, gratitude, transition, and hope. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. George Thomas, Provincial of the MSFS Guwahati Province, whose participation added significance and warmth to the celebration.
The programme commenced with a prayer song, invoking God's blessings upon the gathering and upon the Fathers embarking on new journeys of service. This was followed by a welcome message from Rev. Fr. George Thomas, who reflected on the importance of leadership, commitment, and the enduring values that guide the MSFS community.
Adding a melodious touch to the celebration, students of Classes VIII to XII presented a special song performance, expressing gratitude and best wishes through music. The audience was then invited to witness the felicitation ceremony, where Rev. Fr. George Thomas honoured Rev. Fr. Genes Shangpliang, outgoing Manager, and Rev. Fr. Santhosh Chavaranal, outgoing Administrator, in recognition of their dedicated service and leadership. Subsequently, Rev. Fr. Melvin Parambukattil, Principal, felicitated Rev. Fr. George Pekkadankuzhiyil, the newly appointed Manager, and Rev. Fr. Lijeesh Kaduthanathu, the newly appointed Administrator, warmly welcoming them to the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Genes Shangpliang shared heartfelt reflections on his journey as Manager and expressed gratitude for the support and affection he received throughout his tenure. His message was followed by a vibrant dance performance by the students of Classes UKG to II, bringing joy and colour to the occasion.
Rev. Fr. Santhosh Chavaranal then addressed the gathering, sharing words of encouragement and gratitude while reflecting on his experiences and service as Administrator of the institution.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all those who contributed to making the event meaningful and memorable. The celebration came to a fitting close with the rendition of the National Anthem by the SFS Girls' Band.
True to its name, CONTINUUM symbolized the seamless progression of leadership, service, and mission. As one chapter concluded and another began, the SFS family celebrated the enduring values that unite generations of educators and leaders.
